Botanical Surfactants SD & SDP (40% for SD, 95% for SDP)
SD & SDP is not just a common one of the thousands of surfactants!
SD & SDP are tritepene saponins extracted from plants, which show us better spreading ability, wetting ability, better penetrating ability to enhance the plants' absorbency of solutions sprayed on their surface.
SD is presented as liquid and SDP as solid powder.
SD & SDP are used for the formulation of Super-knock and can be used as Mate for GlyMate (980g/kg glyphosate ammonium + natural surfactant SD). Additionally, SD & SDP can also be used for the formulations of other herbicides and insecticides with tests showing they greatly enhance the bioefficacy of herbicides and insecticides and decrease the usage of A. I amazingly.
Tests have proven that SD & SDP have good lipophilicity which enable glyphosate A. I. To be easily and quickly absorbed into the weeds through the weeds' cuticles. At the same time, as SD & SDP are extracted from plants, they present much more in common with weeds' botanic characteristics compared to other chemical surfactants such as tallow amine, APG and etc...Their botanic naturalness does not damage the weeds' cells below the leaf epidermis which helps and results in more glyphosate translocation to the other parts including weeds' roots to boost weed kill.
Typical features and benefits of SD & SDP:
1. Fully biodegradable, SD & SDP are extracted from natural plants, which are totally biodegradable and have no pollutant on environment.
2. Good retention, excellent rainfastness and spreading ability to form a micro-membrane on the surface of plants and prevent pesticides' drift from leaves and greatly decrease usage of pesticides
3. Excellent wetting ability;
4. Minimize residue of pesticides by decreasing the usage of pesticides;
5. Low toxic with both oral and dermal LD50 over 6000mg/kg;
6. Safer for the operator and public;
7. Stable.
